CAOIMHE DOYLE is a Foley artist and co-owner with Jonathan Reynolds of The Foley Lab with over 25 years of experience in creating Foley sound effects and footsteps for film, television and video games. She is based in Wicklow, Ireland and continues to innovate and create sound effects with a focus on character and detail.
Her work has garnered critical acclaim and multiple awards including a nomination for a MPSE Golden Reel Award for her work on Colm Bairéad’s acclaimed Oscar nominated film An Cailín Ciúin (2022) and again in 2018 for her work on The Favourite, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos.
She was nominated for an Emmy and won a MPSE Golden Reel Award for her contribution to Game of Thrones: Season 1 (2011). In 2008, she was nominated for a MPSE Golden Reel Award for her work on David Cronenberg's Eastern Promises (2007).
Caoimhe received a BA Honours Degree in Film Production from Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art Design + Technology.
In 2006, Caoimhe toured with Footsteps Studios for the live presentation of Guy Maddin's feature film Brand Upon The Brain. The film was presented with live Foley, orchestra, Castrato and guest narrators including Isabella Rossellini, Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson.
